Douglas Hynes

Doug was raised in O’Fallon, IL, has been a proud resident of Prairie Du Long Township for almost a decade, and brings a strong sense of community and service to his role as Township Trustee. His background in technology and leadership, including years of experience in the public and private sectors, gives him a unique perspective on how to support the township’s growth while preserving its values.

As a father and engaged member of the community, Doug hopes to set an example of civic involvement for his family and neighbors showing that even small actions at the local level can make a lasting impact.

Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from SIUE, as well as a master’s in biomedical engineering and an MBA from Marquette University. He currently works in enterprise technology, focusing on strategic problem-solving and improving digital operations for large organizations.
